A Bit About Me
Cody is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over four years of experience working across multiple levels of care in mental health and substance use treatment. He began his career in the field as a Behavioral Technician, where he gained hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral and emotional needs. This foundational work shaped his clinical perspective and informed his path toward becoming a therapist. Cody earned his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey before completing his Master’s degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Downtown Los Angeles. His clinical approach is both trauma-informed and culturally responsive.

Throughout his career, Cody has worked in a range of treatment settings, collaborating with individuals navigating complex emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. His work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while remaining deeply client-centered and tailored to each person’s unique goals, strengths, and lived experience. He is intentional about creating a warm, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to engage in meaningful change.

Cody believes that healing happens through connection, collaboration, and hope. He works alongside clients to help them build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and strengthen emotional resilience at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable. His therapeutic style emphasizes collaboration and agency, supporting clients as they reclaim confidence and move forward with clarity and purpose.

Outside of clinical work, Cody enjoys playing sports and exploring new places—activities that help him stay grounded, balanced, and curious, qualities he brings into his work with clients. He is committed to meeting each client with compassion, respect, and curiosity, and feels honored to support individuals on their paths toward growth and healing.
