PHP at Launch To Wellness

Welcome sign at Launch To Wellness

A Partial Hospitalization Program, or PHP, is the most intensive level of outpatient care we offer: structured treatment five days a week, with clients returning home each evening rather than staying overnight. It sits between inpatient or residential care and less intensive outpatient options like IOP, one part of the full continuum of care built for people who need significant clinical support and structure right now, but don’t require 24-hour supervision.

PHP at Launch To Wellness treats mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions, with a treatment plan built around what a clinical assessment shows a specific client actually needs, not a fixed curriculum applied the same way to everyone.

What Is PHP?

What Is a Partial Hospitalization Program?

PHP sits at the top of our outpatient continuum: real clinical hours during the day, without an overnight stay. If a lower level of support hasn’t been enough on its own, or you’re stepping down from a higher level of care, this is where treatment gets serious without becoming inpatient.

How Care Moves Forward

How Treatment Works at Launch To Wellness

Your care follows a clear plan from the beginning, so you will always understand where you are, what comes next, and why.

  1. 01 / Assessment

    Start with a Confidential Assessment

Every person’s story is different, and that is where treatment begins.

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, current symptoms, and what you want treatment to change. The assessment is confidential, free, and comes with no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and help you find appropriate care.

  2. 02 / Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

After your assessment, we recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs.

We explain what that recommendation involves, including the days and hours of treatment and how it may fit into your schedule. You receive the information you need to make a decision without pressure.

  3. 03 / Treatment Plan

    Build Your Treatment Plan

Treatment is not built around a diagnosis alone. It is built around you.

You and your clinical team create a personalized plan that identifies your goals, the therapies that support them, any psychiatric or medication needs, and how progress will be measured along the way.

  4. 04 / Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team from the first week onward.

It may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support, medication management, family involvement, and other evidence-based services. Treatment is designed to help new skills and healthier patterns carry into everyday life.

  5. 05 / Progress Review

    Measure Progress Together

Recovery is not linear, and your treatment plan should not be rigid.

Your clinical team reviews your progress with you, identifies what is helping, and changes what is not. Your care evolves as your needs change, and the plan is revised with you rather than around you.

  6. 06 / Step Down

    Transition with Confidence

Moving to a lower level of care is not the end of treatment. It is a sign of progress.

When you are ready, the intensity of treatment is reduced gradually while the support around you remains intentional and coordinated by the team you already know.

  7. 07 / Aftercare

Leave with a Plan, Not Just a Goodbye

Before treatment ends, we help you build an aftercare plan for what comes next.

That plan may include ongoing therapy, psychiatric care, community resources, recovery support, and specific strategies for the weeks when life becomes difficult again.

Common Questions

Questions & Answers.

Clear answers about PHP assessment, insurance, and how care fits the life you’re already living. Still wondering about something else? Ask us directly.

  • Assessment decides level of care — not bed availability
  • Intensity can step up or down with the same team
  • Benefits reviewed before you commit

Talk With Our Team

How Do You Decide if PHP Is Right for Me?

Our clinical team decides your level of care based on your specific needs — not on bed availability. It starts with a confidential assessment that’s free and comes with no obligation.

What if I Need More or Less Support Than PHP Once I Start?

Care isn’t static. Your treatment plan is reviewed with you, and any change in the intensity of your care — up or down — is coordinated by the team you already know.

Do You Accept My Insurance?

Most major PPO insurance plans are accepted. Our team can review your coverage as part of your confidential assessment.

Can I Keep Working or Going to School While I’m in PHP?

PHP is a full-day commitment on treatment days, mornings through afternoon. Some people arrange leave or a reduced schedule during PHP and step down to a program built around work and school, like IOP, once they’re ready.
