Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at Launch to Wellness is a confidential, one-on-one counseling service that provides personalized support for recovery and mental health, tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and level of care. Working with a licensed clinician, clients explore the concerns contributing to substance use and/or emotional distress, identify triggers and unhelpful patterns, and build practical coping strategies for managing cravings, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and day-to-day challenges.
Sessions are goal-oriented and grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, motivational strategies, and other clinically appropriate modalities, with an emphasis on strengthening emotional regulation, improving relationships and communication, building relapse-prevention skills, and creating sustainable daily routines supportive of long-term recovery. Individual therapy may be incorporated alongside PHP or IOP programming or continued as step-down outpatient care, with frequency adjusted based on clinical needs and progress, and can include coordination with the broader treatment team to support continuity, accountability, and long-term stability.

Group Therapy
Group therapy at Launch to Wellness is a core part of treatment, offered 3–5 times per week for 3–6 hours per day depending on whether a client is in PHP or IOP program. The groups we offer are evidence-based, comprehensive, and well-rounded, combining clinical guidance with practical skill-building to support lasting change.

In addition to learning coping strategies, emotional regulation tools, and relapse-prevention techniques, clients benefit from consistent peer-to-peer support—connecting with others who understand what they’re going through and offering accountability, encouragement, and real-life perspective. This matters in recovery because healing often happens in relationship: group therapy reduces isolation and shame, strengthens communication and boundaries, and helps clients practice new skills in a supportive setting, making it easier to build confidence and maintain progress outside of treatment.
Family Therapy

We take a family-systems approach—meaning we don’t view our client as the “identified patient” or the sole source of the problem. Instead, we understand that symptoms often develop and persist within a larger relational context,so we treat the concern as a *collective issue*, not an individual flaw. Whenever clinically indicated, we offer family sessions and actively encourage family involvement because recovery is more sustainable when the whole support network is involved, educated, and supported—truly, the more the merrier.
Family sessions can improve communication, reduce blame and shame, clarify roles and boundaries, strengthen accountability, and help loved ones learn concrete ways to respond to triggers, conflict, and stress without reinforcing unhelpful patterns. By involving families, we aim to help everyone “recover,” so to speak—building a healthier home environment that supports long-term healing for our clients and the people who care about them.

Psychiatry & Medication Assistance
Medication assistance plays a key role in mental health stabilization and long-term recovery when personalized and closely monitored. At Launch to Wellness, we offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and psychiatric services with one-on-one support from experienced psychiatrists, helping clients reduce symptoms, manage cravings or withdrawal when appropriate, and improve daily functioning. Through thorough evaluations, ongoing follow-ups, and thoughtful adjustments, we aim to minimize side effects, maximize effectiveness, and ensure medication supports—rather than replaces—therapy and the overall recovery plan.

We also prioritize client education, empowering individuals to understand their medications and actively participate in their care. Our team maintains close collaboration with the broader clinical team to ensure continuity, accountability, and alignment across every stage of treatment and recovery.
Case Management

At Launch to Wellness, we believe that well-rounded case management is at the foundation of effective recovery because it addresses the real-life barriers that often pull people back into a treatment cycle. Beginning at admission, our skilled case managerswork alongside clients to build a practical, long-term plan for stability—connecting them to employment opportunities, appropriate benefits, affordable housing options, transportation, and community resources that make ongoing recovery sustainable.
Case management also helps navigate the complex pressures that can derail progress, including legal issues, court requirements, divorce or separation, child custody concerns, and the replacement of essential documents like IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards. By coordinating care, advocating for clients, and removing day-to-day stressors, case management creates structure and accountability, supports recovery, and helps clients transition from simply “getting through yet another treatment episode” to building a productive, stable future.

Aftercare Planning
We take pride in our aftercare program, extending continuous support to our clients upon program completion. We connect them with a therapist, help identify recovery-related meetings in their area, and provide ongoing support through our monthly alumni program.
Our commitment to the principle of “one person helping another” fosters a lasting bond with our clients.
We also provide ongoing check-ins and personalized recovery planning to help clients navigate real-world challenges with confidence. By maintaining consistent connection and accountability, we ensure each individual feels supported, empowered, and never alone in their continued journey.
