How Care Moves Forward

What Happens Once You Start Virtual IOP.

Many people choose Virtual IOP because distance or schedule makes in-person treatment difficult to sustain, without needing anything less than the structure IOP provides.

  1. 01 · Assessment

    Start With a Confidential Assessment

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, and current symptoms, over a secure video call. It’s confidential, free, and comes with no obligation.

  2. 02 · Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

We recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs and explain how sessions are delivered and what you’ll need to join them.

  3. 03 · Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team our in-person clients work with, over a secure platform built for this, not a workaround.

  4. 04 · Step Down or Aftercare

    Move Forward With a Plan

Moving to a different level of care, virtual or in person, is a sign of progress, not an ending. Before treatment ends, we help you build a plan for what comes next.

How Care Moves Forward

How Treatment Works at Launch To Wellness

Your care follows a clear plan from the beginning, so you will always understand where you are, what comes next, and why.

  1. 01 / Assessment

    Start with a Confidential Assessment

Every person’s story is different, and that is where treatment begins.

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, current symptoms, and what you want treatment to change. The assessment is confidential, free, and comes with no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and help you find appropriate care.

  2. 02 / Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

After your assessment, we recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs.

We explain what that recommendation involves, including the days and hours of treatment and how it may fit into your schedule. You receive the information you need to make a decision without pressure.

  3. 03 / Treatment Plan

    Build Your Treatment Plan

Treatment is not built around a diagnosis alone. It is built around you.

You and your clinical team create a personalized plan that identifies your goals, the therapies that support them, any psychiatric or medication needs, and how progress will be measured along the way.

  4. 04 / Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team from the first week onward.

It may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support, medication management, family involvement, and other evidence-based services. Treatment is designed to help new skills and healthier patterns carry into everyday life.

  5. 05 / Progress Review

    Measure Progress Together

Recovery is not linear, and your treatment plan should not be rigid.

Your clinical team reviews your progress with you, identifies what is helping, and changes what is not. Your care evolves as your needs change, and the plan is revised with you rather than around you.

  6. 06 / Step Down

    Transition with Confidence

Moving to a lower level of care is not the end of treatment. It is a sign of progress.

When you are ready, the intensity of treatment is reduced gradually while the support around you remains intentional and coordinated by the team you already know.

  7. 07 / Aftercare

Leave with a Plan, Not Just a Goodbye

Before treatment ends, we help you build an aftercare plan for what comes next.

That plan may include ongoing therapy, psychiatric care, community resources, recovery support, and specific strategies for the weeks when life becomes difficult again.

Talk With Our Team

Is Virtual IOP as effective as in-person treatment?

Virtual IOP delivers the same clinical model, the same team, and the same level of accountability as our in-person IOP. The format changes. The clinical structure does not.

What technology do I need for Virtual IOP?

Sessions are held over a secure, confidential video platform. A private space, a reliable internet connection, and a computer or tablet with camera and microphone are typically what’s needed. Confirm specific requirements with our admissions team when you schedule your first session.

Can I switch from Virtual IOP to in-person IOP?

Yes. If your situation changes, you can move between virtual and in-person IOP with the same clinical team, without starting your treatment plan over.
