What Is OP?

What Is an Outpatient Program?

OP is where progress gets maintained. Fewer sessions than IOP, the same clinical seriousness, built for people stepping down from a higher level of care or starting here because ongoing, structured support is what they need.

What It Is

The lightest level of structured care we offer.

What It Is

Outpatient Program (OP) at Launch To Wellness provides ongoing individual therapy and, when appropriate, psychiatric support, at a lower weekly frequency than IOP.

Where It Sits

The final step in our continuum of care.

Where It Sits

OP sits at the end of our outpatient continuum. Most clients arrive here after stepping down from IOP or PHP, though some begin treatment at this level when it’s the right fit from the start.

What’s Included

Individual therapy and ongoing support.

What’s Included

This includes individual therapy, psychiatric support and medication management when appropriate, and coordination with aftercare resources as treatment continues.

What Comes Next

Where care goes after OP.

What Comes Next

Many clients transition into our Alumni Program, staying connected to ongoing support once regular sessions end.

Support for Every Stage of Healing

Compare Levels of Care.

Nobody arrives here the same way. A clinical assessment determines the level of care that’s right for you. From there, your schedule is built around the life you’re actually living.

What A Week In OP Actually Holds

No brochure hours. This is the shape of the program as it is actually run, built around your schedule, not a fixed one, and the parts we can’t confirm here, we’d rather tell you on the phone than guess at.

How Care Moves Forward

How Treatment Works at Launch To Wellness

Your care follows a clear plan from the beginning, so you will always understand where you are, what comes next, and why.

  1. 01 / Assessment

    Start with a Confidential Assessment

Every person’s story is different, and that is where treatment begins.

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, current symptoms, and what you want treatment to change. The assessment is confidential, free, and comes with no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and help you find appropriate care.

  2. 02 / Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

After your assessment, we recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs.

We explain what that recommendation involves, including the days and hours of treatment and how it may fit into your schedule. You receive the information you need to make a decision without pressure.

  3. 03 / Treatment Plan

    Build Your Treatment Plan

Treatment is not built around a diagnosis alone. It is built around you.

You and your clinical team create a personalized plan that identifies your goals, the therapies that support them, any psychiatric or medication needs, and how progress will be measured along the way.

  4. 04 / Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team from the first week onward.

It may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support, medication management, family involvement, and other evidence-based services. Treatment is designed to help new skills and healthier patterns carry into everyday life.

  5. 05 / Progress Review

    Measure Progress Together

Recovery is not linear, and your treatment plan should not be rigid.

Your clinical team reviews your progress with you, identifies what is helping, and changes what is not. Your care evolves as your needs change, and the plan is revised with you rather than around you.

  6. 06 / Step Down

    Transition with Confidence

Moving to a lower level of care is not the end of treatment. It is a sign of progress.

When you are ready, the intensity of treatment is reduced gradually while the support around you remains intentional and coordinated by the team you already know.

  7. 07 / Aftercare

Leave with a Plan, Not Just a Goodbye

Before treatment ends, we help you build an aftercare plan for what comes next.

That plan may include ongoing therapy, psychiatric care, community resources, recovery support, and specific strategies for the weeks when life becomes difficult again.

Common Questions

Questions & Answers.

Clear answers about OP, how it compares to weekly therapy, and when IOP may be a better fit. Still wondering about something else? Ask us directly.

  • Lower weekly frequency than IOP
  • Support is still coordinated by one treatment plan
  • Assessment confirms OP or IOP fit

Talk With Our Team

Is OP the same as regular therapy?

OP provides more consistent clinical contact than standard weekly therapy alone. It can include group therapy and psychiatric support in addition to individual sessions, coordinated as part of one treatment plan.

How do I know if I need OP or IOP?

The right level of care depends on how much structure and clinical support you need right now. A clinical assessment determines this directly, based on your current situation, not a self-assessment from a webpage.
