Launch To Wellness
Where Healing Becomes Forward Motion
About Us
About Launch To Wellness
A women-owned, Joint Commission accredited outpatient center in Woodland Hills, CA, offering PHP, IOP, and OP for adults managing mental health conditions, substance use, or both. Real structure, built around the life you’re actually living.

Our Mission
We exist to make mental health and addiction treatment work together, not separately. By bringing both under one roof, we help adults across the San Fernando Valley receive connected, personalized care from one team, so healing fits into real life instead of putting it on hold.
Care That Meets You Where You Actually Are
Most people don’t arrive at a treatment center’s About page because they’re curious. They arrive because they, or someone they love, is trying to figure out if this is a place worth trusting with something serious. Sometimes that’s someone searching for themselves. Sometimes it’s a parent, partner, or sibling searching for someone else. That question deserves a real answer, not a mission statement full of adjectives.
Here’s the direct version: Launch To Wellness is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient center in Woodland Hills, CA, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs for adults managing mental health conditions, substance use, and the two together. We’re licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services, and we treat adults across the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles. That’s the credential version. The rest of this page is the human one.
30+
Years of Clinical Excellence
“Launch to Wellness was founded on the belief that people struggling with mental health and substance use disorders deserve care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply humane.”
More About Launch To Wellness Who We Are
Why We Started Launch To Wellness
Behavioral healthcare has a sorting problem. Someone struggling with alcohol gets sent to addiction treatment. Someone struggling with depression gets sent to a mental health provider. But it is one person, and the two are rarely separate. The drinking holds down the anxiety. The anxiety gets worse when the drinking stops.
Our leadership team spent enough years inside that system to know the gap was not a clinical mystery. It was a design problem. Launch To Wellness opened in Woodland Hills in 2023 to treat both conditions with the same team, at the same time, as one life.
-
Mental health and substance use are treated together here, by the same clinicians, in the same plan. No referring out, no repeating your history to a second provider, no two plans that contradict each other.
-
Most outpatient programs promise compassionate, evidence-based, individualized care. Launch To Wellness goes further by treating mental health and substance use together through one coordinated team serving Woodland Hills and greater Los Angeles.
-
Adults have jobs, custody schedules, classes, aging parents, and rent that does not pause for treatment. Structured outpatient care removes the disappear-for-thirty-days barrier without lowering the standard of care.
-
Residential care is the right answer for some people. If you are one of them, we will tell you, even when that means sending you somewhere else. The assessment is free and there is no pressure attached to it.
Our Approach
What Shapes How We Work
Three things guide every decision we make about how care is delivered here, from the first phone call to the last session.
We treat the whole person, not the diagnosis., 1 of 3
We treat the whole person, not the diagnosis.
A treatment plan built around a symptom checklist is a treatment plan that misses the person carrying it. Every plan we build starts with a conversation about a life, not a list of criteria.
We work alongside you, not ahead of you.
Recovery isn’t something we do to a client. It’s a process we walk through together, at a pace that accounts for real life: jobs, families, setbacks, and all. Read more about our treatment philosophy and clinical approach.
We see recovery as ongoing work, not a finish line.
We don’t talk about treatment as a single event you complete and move past. We talk about it as the start of a way of managing your life that keeps working long after your last session with us.
Our Approach
What Makes Our Approach Different
If you are comparing outpatient treatment centers in Los Angeles, you have already seen the same three phrases on every site: compassionate staff, evidence-based care, individualized attention. All of it is usually true, and none of it helps you choose.
Here is what distinguishes Launch To Wellness, an outpatient mental health and substance use treatment center in Woodland Hills serving the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles, described specifically enough that you can ask us about any of it before you decide.
-
Co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions are addressed in one treatment plan by one team. You will not be told your depression is out of scope, or that you need to get sober first before anyone will treat your trauma. Both are worked on from day one.
-
Your therapist, psychiatric provider, and case manager work in the same Woodland Hills building and stay in the same conversation about your care. Clinical staff meet regularly to review each client’s progress, so your plan changes when your situation changes rather than six weeks later.
-
We do not run everyone through the same sequence of worksheets. Your treatment plan is built from your clinical assessment, your history, your goals, and what has already failed you. Two people in the same program on the same day are often working on very different things.
-
Outpatient treatment means you practice what you learn where it actually matters, which is at home, at work, and with your family. Skills are tested against real life every evening and reviewed the next day. For many adults that is not a compromise, it is the more durable path.
-
Recovery rarely happens in isolation, and families often need support of their own. Family education and involvement are offered as part of the treatment plan, with your consent and on your terms.
-
For adults whose depression has not responded to medication, transcranial magnetic stimulation is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared option for treatment-resistant depression. Having TMS therapy available in house means we can change course without sending you somewhere else.
-
Your progress is tracked with validated clinical assessments at regular intervals, not only by how you describe your week. When the measures stop moving, your treatment plan changes.

Our Services
Therapies and Clinical Services
Launch To Wellness provides outpatient mental health and substance use treatment in Woodland Hills, California, serving people across the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles. Our licensed clinicians combine individual, group, and family therapy with psychiatry, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), case management, and alumni aftercare. That’s eight connected services under one treatment plan, with most major PPO insurance accepted.
Individual Therapy, 1 of 8
Individual Therapy
One-on-one outpatient therapy with a licensed clinician in Woodland Hills, California. Weekly sessions use evidence-based CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder, building coping skills meant to carry beyond treatment.
Group Therapy
Clinician-led process and skills groups where people in recovery heal alongside peers who understand. Sessions apply CBT and DBT to relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and trauma, forming a core component of our intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs in the San Fernando Valley.
Family Therapy
Family-systems therapy looks at how addiction and mental illness show up across a family’s relationships and daily life. We help families rebuild communication, set healthy boundaries, understand codependency, and build a home environment that supports recovery.
Psychiatry & Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and MAT delivered by licensed prescribers. We treat co-occurring disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use, with medication reviewed regularly and coordinated closely with your therapy.
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)
TMS is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain linked to mood regulation, most often used for depression that hasn’t responded to therapy or medication alone. Sessions are administered by trained clinical staff and coordinated with your psychiatric and therapy team as part of your overall plan.
Alumni Support
Recovery does not end at discharge. Our free alumni program offers weekly groups, accountability, and an ongoing sober community across Los Angeles for anyone who wants to stay connected after treatment.
Case Management
Dedicated case managers help remove practical barriers that can derail recovery: housing, employment, transportation, legal matters, benefits, and insurance verification. We coordinate directly with your care team and advocate on your behalf so treatment stays your priority.
Sober Living Recommendations
We refer people to vetted sober living homes throughout the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles that provide structure, drug testing, and peer accountability during outpatient care. Stable housing supports daily treatment attendance and a healthy routine.
