IOP At Launch To Wellness

Welcome sign at Launch To Wellness

IOP combines individual therapy, group therapy, and, when appropriate, psychiatric care and medication management, scheduled across the week in a way that leaves room for work, school, or caregiving. Every IOP treatment plan is built individually during the clinical assessment; the specific schedule and structure are set based on what a client actually needs, not a fixed template.

For clients who need the same intensive structure but can’t reliably get to Woodland Hills, Virtual IOP delivers the same program remotely, across California.

What Is IOP?

What Is an Intensive Outpatient Program?

IOP is real clinical structure without asking you to put your life on hold. It runs fewer days and fewer hours than PHP, built around the job, the school schedule, or the family responsibilities you already have.

What It Is

Structured treatment that fits around a working life.

What It Is

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Launch To Wellness combines individual therapy, group therapy, and psychiatric support on a schedule built to work around your job, school, or family responsibilities.

Where It Sits

A step down from PHP, or a starting point on its own.

Where It Sits

IOP sits between PHP and standard outpatient care. Many clients start here directly. Others step down from PHP once daily structure is no longer necessary.

What’s Included

Therapy, psychiatry, and a schedule that flexes.

What’s Included

This includes individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support and medication management when appropriate, and a schedule built around your actual availability, not a fixed template.

What Comes Next

Where care goes after IOP.

What Comes Next

Many clients step down to OP once symptoms stabilize and less frequent support becomes enough to maintain progress.

Program Facts

What A Week In IOP Actually Holds

No brochure hours. This is the shape of the program as it is actually run, built around your schedule, not a fixed one, and the parts we can’t confirm here, we’d rather tell you on the phone than guess at.

How Care Moves Forward

What Happens Once You Start IOP.

Many people step down from PHP into IOP, or begin treatment here directly, before moving to OP as things become more manageable.

  1. 01 · Assessment

    Start With a Confidential Assessment

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, and current symptoms. It’s confidential, free, and comes with no obligation.

  2. 02 · Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

We recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs and explain what it involves, including days, hours, and how it fits around your job, school, or family.

  3. 03 · Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team from the first week onward, built around a schedule you can actually sustain.

  4. 04 · Step Down or Aftercare

    Move Forward With a Plan

Moving to OP, or finishing treatment altogether, is a sign of progress, not an ending. Before treatment ends, we help you build a plan for what comes next.

Nobody arrives here the same way. A clinical assessment determines the level of care that’s right for you. From there, your schedule is built around the life you’re actually living.

Is IOP Right for You?

More Than Weekly Therapy

Not daily structure.

01 · More Than Weekly Therapy

You need more than weekly therapy, but you don’t need the daily structure of PHP.

Stepping Down From PHP

Ready for a lighter schedule.

02 · Stepping Down From PHP

You’ve stabilized in PHP and you’re ready for less daily intensity.

A Job or School to Protect

A schedule PHP can’t fit into.

03 · A Job or School to Protect

Your schedule can’t accommodate a full-day program, and it shouldn’t have to.

How Care Moves Forward

How Treatment Works at Launch To Wellness

Your care follows a clear plan from the beginning, so you will always understand where you are, what comes next, and why.

  1. 01 / Assessment

    Start with a Confidential Assessment

Every person’s story is different, and that is where treatment begins.

A clinician takes time to understand your mental health, substance use, medical history, current symptoms, and what you want treatment to change. The assessment is confidential, free, and comes with no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and help you find appropriate care.

  2. 02 / Recommendation

    Receive a Personalized Recommendation

After your assessment, we recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs.

We explain what that recommendation involves, including the days and hours of treatment and how it may fit into your schedule. You receive the information you need to make a decision without pressure.

  3. 03 / Treatment Plan

    Build Your Treatment Plan

Treatment is not built around a diagnosis alone. It is built around you.

You and your clinical team create a personalized plan that identifies your goals, the therapies that support them, any psychiatric or medication needs, and how progress will be measured along the way.

  4. 04 / Active Care

    Begin Treatment

Your care is delivered by the same clinical team from the first week onward.

It may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support, medication management, family involvement, and other evidence-based services. Treatment is designed to help new skills and healthier patterns carry into everyday life.

  5. 05 / Progress Review

    Measure Progress Together

Recovery is not linear, and your treatment plan should not be rigid.

Your clinical team reviews your progress with you, identifies what is helping, and changes what is not. Your care evolves as your needs change, and the plan is revised with you rather than around you.

  6. 06 / Step Down

    Transition with Confidence

Moving to a lower level of care is not the end of treatment. It is a sign of progress.

When you are ready, the intensity of treatment is reduced gradually while the support around you remains intentional and coordinated by the team you already know.

  7. 07 / Aftercare

Leave with a Plan, Not Just a Goodbye

Before treatment ends, we help you build an aftercare plan for what comes next.

That plan may include ongoing therapy, psychiatric care, community resources, recovery support, and specific strategies for the weeks when life becomes difficult again.
