Launch To Wellness
Where Healing Becomes Forward Motion
Launch To Wellness
Our Story, Mission & Commitment to Care
Launch To Wellness started with a simple observation: too many people were being treated for a crisis, then sent home with no plan for the thousand ordinary days that followed.

Our Mission
A Commitment That Doesn’t End On Discharge
Healing becomes forward motion when it’s treated as a direction, not a destination. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to: not “did this person finish the program,” but “is this person moving forward, on their own terms, months after we last saw them.”
If someone needs to come back through our door again later, that’s not a failure of the mission. That’s the mission working exactly as intended: a door that stays open.

In Larisa’s Words
Born Out Of Love, Loss, and A Belief That We Can Do Better
Launch to Wellness was born out of love, loss, and a deep belief that we can do better for the people who are suffering. My path into this work began with my own family. When my brother became seriously ill, I had to learn how to navigate a healthcare system that was not built to support him, our family, or anyone walking alongside someone with complex mental health and substance use needs.
I watched how easily people fall through the cracks, how families are left to figure it out alone without education or resources, and how often the people who most need compassionate, individualized care are the ones the system overlooks. That experience never left me, and it ultimately shaped why I built this practice.
I started Launch to Wellness to create something better — a place where clients and their families are met with dignity, expertise, and genuine human care, where treatment is a deeply personal process rather than a one-size-fits-all program, and where families are seen as part of the journey rather than left in the dark.
This work is not just my profession; it is my calling and my way of being part of a community I want to see become healthier and more connected.
— Larisa Krichevsky
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

I built Launch to Wellness to be a place I would want my own family to be cared for — and that standard has not changed since the day we opened.

Our Mission
What We’re Actually Trying to Do
Our mission isn’t to get people through a program. It’s to help people build a way of managing their mental health and substance use that keeps working after the program ends. That distinction shapes everything, from how we structure PHP and IOP schedules to how we think about aftercare.
Our approach
What Makes Our Approach Different
If you are comparing outpatient treatment centers in Los Angeles, you have already seen the same three phrases on every site: compassionate staff, evidence-based care, individualized attention. All of it is usually true, and none of it helps you choose.
Here is what distinguishes Launch To Wellness, an outpatient mental health and substance use treatment center in Woodland Hills serving the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles, described specifically enough that you can ask us about any of it before you decide.
-
Co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions are addressed in one treatment plan by one team. You will not be told your depression is out of scope, or that you need to get sober first before anyone will treat your trauma. Both are worked on from day one.
-
Your therapist, psychiatric provider, and case manager work in the same Woodland Hills building and stay in the same conversation about your care. Clinical staff meet regularly to review each client’s progress, so your plan changes when your situation changes rather than six weeks later.
-
We do not run everyone through the same sequence of worksheets. Your treatment plan is built from your clinical assessment, your history, your goals, and what has already failed you. Two people in the same program on the same day are often working on very different things.
-
Outpatient treatment means you practice what you learn where it actually matters, which is at home, at work, and with your family. Skills are tested against real life every evening and reviewed the next day. For many adults that is not a compromise, it is the more durable path.
-
Recovery rarely happens in isolation, and families often need support of their own. Family education and involvement are offered as part of the treatment plan, with your consent and on your terms.
-
For adults whose depression has not responded to medication, transcranial magnetic stimulation is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared option for treatment-resistant depression. Having TMS therapy available in house means we can change course without sending you somewhere else.
-
Your progress is tracked with validated clinical assessments at regular intervals, not only by how you describe your week. When the measures stop moving, your treatment plan changes.
What We Treat, By Category
Four Categories, One Team.
Every plan starts with a category, then gets built around the specific condition inside it.
Depression, anxiety, trauma, and the broader range of conditions we treat clinically, not just the most commonly searched ones. Every plan is built around the specific condition, not a generic mental health track everyone moves through the same way.

Alcohol, opioids, and the full range of substances that bring people to outpatient treatment. We treat the disorder itself, not just the substance, with detox coordinated separately when it’s needed first.
Learn moreSubstance Use
When mental health and substance use show up together, treated as one connected picture, through one plan and one clinical team, not two separate providers coordinating loosely.
Learn moreCo-Occurring Disorders
Treated directly, with the same clinical seriousness as everything else we do, not folded into general mental health treatment as an afterthought.

Our Approach
What Shapes How We Work
Three things guide every decision we make about how care is delivered here, from the first phone call to the last session.
We treat the whole person, not the diagnosis., 1 of 3
We treat the whole person, not the diagnosis.
A treatment plan built around a symptom checklist is a treatment plan that misses the person carrying it. Every plan we build starts with a conversation about a life, not a list of criteria.
We work alongside you, not ahead of you.
Recovery isn’t something we do to a client. It’s a process we walk through together, at a pace that accounts for real life: jobs, families, setbacks, and all. Read more about our treatment philosophy and clinical approach.
We see recovery as ongoing work, not a finish line.
We don’t talk about treatment as a single event you complete and move past. We talk about it as the start of a way of managing your life that keeps working long after your last session with us.
Support for Every Stage of Healing
Treatment Programs Built Around Your Life
Nobody arrives here the same way. Some people need somewhere to be every morning. Some need one hour a week and a person who remembers their name. You might be the one who needs help, or you might be the one trying to find it for someone else. Either way, tell us what your week actually looks like. The shifts. The classes. Whatever you can’t afford to lose. We’ll find the level of care that fits it. When that changes, we change it.
Partial Hospitalization Program
For when getting through the day on your own isn’t working. You’re here mornings through afternoon for therapy, psychiatry, real clinical hours. Then you sleep in your own bed.
Intensive Outpatient Program
You don’t have to disappear from your life to get better. Keep the job. Do school pickup. Treatment happens in the hours you have.
Outpatient Program
The intensive part ends. The work doesn’t. This is where you keep what you fought for, with someone still in your corner.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program
The same clinicians, from your kitchen table. For people who can’t make the drive, and for people who’d rather nobody saw them walk in.
Medical & Detox Resources
Some of this can’t be done at home, and trying is dangerous. If you need medical supervision to come off something, we get you into a place we trust.
Mental Health Diversion Program
If your charges trace back to a mental illness nobody treated, there’s another road. Our certified diversion program handles the treatment and the paperwork, and we speak to the court for you.
In-network and out-of-network
We Work With Most Major Insurance Providers
Chances are, your plan is covered. Verify your benefits in minutes — confidentially and with no obligation.

Aetna
We’ll confirm eligibility, deductibles, and any out-of-pocket costs for this plan.

Don’t see your provider? We likely still work with them out-of-network — and self-pay options are available if you prefer to keep care private. Start admissions or let’s check.
